The Navrachana International School, Vadodara (NISV – CBSE), which was set up in 2007, is managed by the Navrachana Education Society (NES), established in 1965. The school is located in serene surroundings in Vadodara, a city with a rich cultural heritage and a uniquely cosmopolitan character, thanks to the visionary genius and zealous endeavour of its erstwhile ruler, Maharaja Sayajirao III.
NISV – CBSE is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The School’s mission statement incorporates the time-honoured principles of fostering the spirit of excellence by Educating, Empowering, and Enlightening all its students.
With an effective mix of internationally acclaimed curricula and methodologies in an essentially Indian ethos, NISV strives to train generations of young students to evolve into well informed and responsible global citizens.

The Logo
The Navrachana logo comprises three leaves of the Bodhi tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. The leaves signify the three vital facets of the child’s physical, mental emotional growth and development. This translates as Navrachana, which is “New Creation”.
The emblem thus symbolizes the aim of the school, which is to build, nurture, and groom these three qualities, to create well-balanced and multifaceted individuals who consistently strive to realize their true potential.
Principal’s Message
Ms. Kashmira Jaiswal is a dedicated and passionate educator, who has been serving in the chosen field of education for 20 years as a leader, facilitator, mentor, designer and guide to her colleagues and students alike. She understands the pulse of futuristic education and keeps up with the pace of changing times with ease and alacrity, reinventing her methodology and skills. She endeavours to empower young minds to become future leaders. She strongly believes in the journey of experiential learning and has collaborated with several national and international educational leaders and trainers to design and develop content and expertise in contemporary education systems.
She is the proud recipient of the CBSE National Award for Excellence in Teaching and School Leadership (2022), The Federal Assistance Award of $ 25000 from the USA for her Project Upskill to Upcycle (2019), The Global Leadership in Education Award (2016) from the Education Council of India, Fulbright Distinguished Award for Teachers (2015), and the Pearson Teaching Award (2013). She is a Microsoft Certified Educator, a TEDx Licensee, a Master Trainer, a Design Thinking Facilitator, and an IC3 Certified Career and College Counsellor.
She has authored English Textbooks, titled ‘English Expert’ for Classes 6 and 7, which are circulated pan India. She develops content for the CBSE, and her Educational Film, ‘The Magic of Active Collaborative Learning’ for Professional Development of Teachers is aired on the CBSE DTH Channel. She has presented papers at National and International Seminars and has been invited by the Ministry of Malaysia for a teacher training and exchange program.
